Meetings
Branch 2500 meets the 4th Wednesday of each month from September to May at 1:30 pm at Log Cabin Museum, 7910 Polo Park Crescent, Saanichton, B.C. The exception is January, which will not have a monthly meeting and December, which will have a special meeting event that will be on a day other than the 4th Wednesday.
Next Meeting: Wednesday, May 27, 2026
Guest Speaker: Dave Obee, Editor and Publisher of the Times Colonist. The subject will be DNA: How it’s changing family research.
Upcoming Events
We are planning a special event for our June 24th meeting. Presentations will be given for those members who have attained 20 year membership in the BCGREA.
This event will be a: ‘PIZZA’ PICNIC in the PARK at 1:00 p.m, to be held at the “Log Cabin Museum” on Polo Park Crescent in Saanichton. In order to provide adequate refreshments, we need to know how many members will be attending. Tickets will be on sale at the May meeting. $10.00 for members and $20.00 for guests.

Membership Dues
$25.00 per primary member, $15 to add a spouse/partner. Due on January 1st of each year (unless by automatic pension deduction). Please forward cheque made payable to “BCGREA” to the Treasurer.
