Attend in person or by Zoom.  Morning presentations include  the BC Seniors Advocate. Afternoon business includes reports by the officers, bylaw amendments and election of officers. Allowable expenses for voting members (2 per branch) and committee members will be reimbursed.

WALK IN NATURE WITH OUR OWN RAIN GODDESS!!

   The next walk is on Wednesday  October 23 , 10:00 AM   at the George C. Reifel Refuge Migratory Bird Sanctuary on Westham Island, in Delta.

             As we approach autumn and the bird migratory season this is the perfect time to take advantage of visiting this sanctuary as many bird species will be coming through the area as they travel south. Binoculars are an asset but not essential as just walking the trails within the sanctuary are enjoyable. They are also completely flat.

         Payment is made upon arrival. Cost would be $6 for seniors over 65 and $8 for those under 65.  If the group is larger than 15 people, we can be assisted by a tour guide but at least two weeks notice is required to book this option.  Consequently  I would like to know before Sept 30,2024.  If  our group is less than 15  we would navigate on our own and with the company of my husband, Phil Henderson, a knowledgeable birder.  

       Parking,  booking a space is mandatory,  and can be done up to 3 days in advance of Oct 23,2024 Each car owner would be responsible for that task. 

 More walk ideas are always welcome so keep them coming.
