Patient Pathways Empowered Patient Webinar Series: Understanding Resuscitation and Heroics
Patient Pathways Empowered Patient Webinar Series: Understanding Resuscitation and Heroics
June 2, 2026 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm
ZOOM
Module 2 of 3
Many people say they wouldn't want heroics, but few of us know what that really means and how the term applies as we get older and approach the end of our lives. By the end of this workshop will understand 'resuscitation' and the treatments you might and might not want during serious and critical illness, or frailty and dementia. You will have more confidence in having courageous conversations with your loved ones, future decision-makers, and your healthcare team.

Volunteer on Executive
Victoria Branch 1200 welcomes new members to its Executive Board. This year we are seeking people who are interested in various positions including treasurer, program coordinator and organizers for social and members’ welfare activities.
Executive members organize events or workshops for Branch 1200 members. We also host speakers to talk about matters of interest to our members. We maintain a webpage, publish a newsletter twice a year, contribute to the provincial PEN, work on recruiting and retaining new members and ensure that our finances are well-managed in accordance with BCGREA guidelines. The Chair represents the Branch on the provincial Board and other members also participate on various provincial committees. The Executive meets 4-6 times per year, either in person or by zoom. Although times vary, generally members will spend up to 10 hours per month on Branch activities.
To volunteer to join the Branch Executive team, please complete the nomination form

You never know who you'll see, so come on out and connect with friends both old and new!
Please RSVP to Micki at secretary.branch200@bcgrea.ca by June 22nd, 2026 so we can ensure there is food a plenty! Need a ride or interested in carpooling? Let us know and we'll try to pair people together.
Click on the link to see the map for directions. Use the Parking area on the right when entering and use the path to the Beach, keep to the left at the end of the path and we're just past the Washrooms.
Hope to see you there!
