Presentations
Survivor Kits for Retirement
Tuesday, October 20, 2026 at 1:30 pm in person over via Zoom
Doors open at 1 pm
Esquimalt Gorge Park Pavillion, 1070 Tillicum Rd
FREE, but registration by October 18, 2026 is necessary to ensure a seat for people attending in person. Registration forms were sent out in an email on October 1, 2026. If you didn’t receive the email and want to attend, please email victoriabranch@bcgrea.ca.
Speaker is Ian Ferguson, a Stephen Leacock Award-winning author, playwright, actor, and acting instructor.
No registration is needed for Zoom Attendance.

Christmas Lunch
When: Tuesday, December 8, 2026
Where: Cedar Hill Golf Club House, 1400 Derby Road, Saanich
Lunch: Mediterranean Buffet
Lemon grass chicken (gluten free) and Falafel (vegan) with sides of salad, grilled vegetables and rice, some of which are gluten free or vegan. Cookies and squares for dessert with tea and coffee
and of course, DOOR PRIZES
Time: 12:30 p.m. Doors open at noon
Guests: A member may bring one guest
Cost: $32 per person (member & non-members)

- By e-transfer to payments1200@bcgrea.ca (Note: you will need to copy this address for your bank account). Please put the name of the BCGREA member and their phone number in the e-transfer message box. If you need help, email: treasurer.branch1200@bcgrea.ca
- By cash at the October 20, 2026, “Survivor Kits for Retirement” presentation.
You will get an email with your ticket number if you pay by e-transfer and a paper ticket if you pay at the October 20, 2026 presentation.

Membership Dues
$25.00 per primary member, $15 to add a spouse/partner. Due on January 1st of each year (unless by automatic pension deduction). Please forward cheque to Central Support or pay online through e-invoice.
