As you may have heard, the Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) is on strike as of November 15, 2024. For the duration of the strike, no mail will be delivered and no new mail will be processed.
What does this mean for you as a retired member?
If you receive any correspondence by mail from the Public Service Pension Plan, like your annual benefit statements, pension payments or Pension Life, you will experience delays.
Your plan will continue to serve you online during this disruption. Members can set up direct deposit and access their annual benefit statements within My Account, read Pension Life and access pension-related information on the plan’s website.
If you have questions about your pension, call 1-866-876-6677 or visit pspp.pensionsbc.ca/.
What does this mean for Green Shield Canada benefits?
To avoid delays Green Shield encourages you to register for online services and set up direct deposit. If you have questions about your post-retirement group benefits, contact GreenShield directly at 1-888-525-7587.
